Biography
The Swedish tenor Per Håkan Precht studied at Operastudio 67 in Stockholm and at the National College of Operatic Art in Oslo. During his studies he performed parts such as Ferrando in Cosi fan Tutte, Nerone in L’Incoronazione di Poppea, Eduardo in Rossini’s La Cambiale diMatrimonio, and Ormindo in Cavalli’s L’Ormindo. Per Håkan Precht was engaged at the Landestheater Detmold 1997-2000 where his roles included The Prince in Rusalka, Ernesto in Don Pasquale, the title role in Werther, Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola and Camille du Rossillon in Die Lustige Witwe. Recent guest appearances have included Rodolfo in La Bohéme at the Staatstheater Nürnberg, Steuermann in Der Fliegende Holländer and Edmondo in Manon Lescaut at the Gothenburg Opera,Wilson in Doctor Atomic at the Finnish Nat
