The music of Ravel, Schumann and Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, among others, interweaves with the souds of Ya zarie el Bazrangosh to create a musical oriental carpet.

During the concert, you almost have the impression of having landed on a flying carpet from 1001 Nights - just sit on it, let yourself be carried away by the music and float away in your mind!

The concert is an intercultural journey where you will experience a musical interplay between the oriental and western musical worlds.

For this mix of various neareastern Maqam and songs of European romanticism, ensemble members of Theater Bonn have joined forces with Bonn's 1001 Takt Ensemble, accompanied by the Nouruz Ensemble.
