Our foray through the European metropolises in March brings elementary forms of movement. Einojuhani Rautavaara wrote his Dances with the Winds in 1974 for the Swedish all-round flautist Gunilla von Bahr, which is why the solo part alternates between flute, piccolo, alto flute and bass flute.
