Peter Ruzicka is not only one of the leading composers of the present day, but also a celebrated conductor and influential artistic director, e.B. at the Salzburg Festival. His symphony is an excerpt from the opera Benjamin, which premiered in Hamburg. Beethoven's Overture King Stephan, a late work for the opening of the theatre in Budapest, as well as his wonderfully lyrical Fourth Symphony will be performed beforehand.
