Ein Abend, der die euphorische Gemeinschaft feiert: Für die Eröffnungsgala der Spielzeit 2023/24 hat sich der Musiker PeterLicht mit der jungen israelischen Dirigentin Keren Kagarlitsky und Mitgliedern des Ensembles ein ganz besonderes Programm ausgedacht. Mit Musik von Verdi, Weill, PeterLicht u. v. a. bringen wir Pop, Oper und klassische Musik zusammen: alle miteinander, wie wir zusammengehören. Denn verschieden wie wir sind, sind wir am stärksten und besten dort, wo wir Banden bilden und der Vereinzelung das Empathie-Wunderwerk des Miteinanders entgegensetzen. Denn alles Leben auf der Erde muss man sich eigentlich als Kollaborationsbeziehung vorstellen: Auch wir Menschen könnten nicht existieren, wenn wir uns nicht beim Atmen, Verdauen und Genießen auf die Hilfe von Millionen anderer Lebensformen verlassen könnten. Aber wir brauchen uns auch gegenseitig, damit wir uns Aufgaben und Verantwortung auch mal teilen können und der Alltag uns nicht den Magen verdirbt. Zusammen sind wir mehr.

An evening celebrating the euphoric community: For the opening gala of the 2023/24 season, musician PeterLicht has come up with a very special program together with young Israeli conductor Keren Kagarlitsky and members of the ensemble. With music by Verdi, Weill, PeterLicht and many others, we bring together pop, opera and classical music: all together, as we belong together. For different as we are, we are strongest and best where we form bonds and counter isolation with the empathy miracle of togetherness. For all life on earth must actually be imagined as a collaborative relationship: We humans, too, could not exist if we could not rely on the help of millions of other life forms to breathe, digest and enjoy. But we also need each other so that we can sometimes share tasks and responsibilities and so that everyday life doesn't spoil our stomachs. Together we are more.
