Η μαγευτική όπερα του Μασνέ Σταχτοπούτα, βασισμένη στο κλασικό παραμύθι, κάνει πρεμιέρα στη Met υπό τη διεύθυνση του Μπερτράν ντε Μπιγύ. Η  σκηνοθεσία είναι του Λωράν Πελλύ, ο οποίος έχει σκηνοθετήσει στη Met την Κόρη του Συντάγματος του Ντονιτσέττι και τη Μανόν του Μασνέ. Η Τζόυς ΝτιΝτονάτο, στον ομώνυμο ρόλο, προσθέτει έναν ακόμη ρόλο στο ρεπερτόριό της στη Met –ένα ρόλο που ερμήνευσε με μεγάλη επιτυχία στο Θέατρο Λισέου, στην Όπερα της Σάντα Φε και στη Βασιλική Όπερα του Κόβεν Γκάρντεν. Η διανομή περιλαμβάνει επίσης την Άλις Κουτ ως Γαλάζιο Πρίγκιπα, τη Στέφανι Μπλάιθ ως κακιά μητριά Μαντάμ ντε λα Αλτιέρ, την Κάθλην Κιμ ως Νεράιδα και τον Λωράν Ναουρί ως Παντόλφ. Η Σταχτοπούτα ανεβαίνει σε συμπαραγωγή με τη Βασιλική Όπερα του Κόβεν Γκάρντεν, το Θέατρο Λισέου της Βαρκελώνης, το Θέατρο Λα Μονναί των Βρυξελλών και την Όπερα της Λίλλης. Massenet's enchanting opera Cinderella , based on the classic fairy tale, premieres at the Met under the direction of Bertrand de Biguy. The direction is by Laurent Pelly, who has directed Donizetti 's Daughter of the Constitution and Massenet 's Manon at the Met . Joyce DiDonato, in the title role, adds yet another role to her Met repertoire – a role she has performed with great success at the Lyceum Theatre, Santa Fe Opera and Coven Garden Royal Opera House. The cast also includes Alice Coote as the Prince Charming, Stephanie Blythe as the evil stepmother Madame de la Altiere, Kathleen Kim as the Fairy, and Laurent Naury as Padolph. Cinderella _is staged in co-production with the Royal Opera House of Coven Garden, the Liceu Theater of Barcelona, ​​the Théâtre La Monnaie of Brussels and the Lille Opera. The production premiered at the Santa Fe Opera House.
