Heuberger 's Ball in the Opera House is one of the true gems of classical operetta. Musically, it is unique in its combination of Viennese and Parisian traditions. The composer crowned the story with charming melodies, including the beautiful waltz Tonight at the Opera or the duet We only live once . The pearl of the score is the duet about the first meeting of the Chambre séparée , which has rightly been ranked among the greatest hits of world operetta.

Heubergerův Ples v opeře je jedním ze skutečných skvostů klasické operety. Hudebně je ojedinělý svým spojením vídeňské a pařížské tradice. Skladatel ověnčil příběh půvabnými melodiemi, mezi nimiž nechybí krásný valčík Dnes večer v opeře anebo duet Jen jednou žijeme. Perlou partitury je duet o první schůzce Chambre séparée, který se právem zařadil mezi největší hity světové operety.
