Richard Wagner's opera Der Ring des Nibelungen lasts 16 hours over four days. The Opernloft creates Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung in just 90 minutes. We concentrate on the exciting story in which Alberich steals the Rhine gold from the Rhine daughters and forges the Ring of the Nibelung from it, which gives its owner infinite magical power. We tell how Siegfried, son of the siblings Siegmund and Sieglinde, kills the dragon Fafner with his sword Nothung and thus gets the ring. How Siegfried saves the Valkyrie Brünnhilde from the circle of fire, is murdered by Hagen and in the end the entire personage of the ring is lost

We tell all of this in a separate version of the opera in a nutshell. We move the story to today, to a place far away from the dragons and the Nibelungs: in the middle of a pajama party. Three young women take on all roles. You not only play the Rhine daughters, Brünnhilde and the Valkyries, but also Siegfried and his opponent Hagen. Our production is not only considerably shorter than the original, but also definitely more amusing. So: Take a sniff inside the ring, understand the story and enjoy the wonderful music!
