El cicle simfònic de la temporada es tanca amb un dels millors poemes simfònics de Strauss, la Simfonia alpina, interpretada per un invitat especial, Fabio Luisi, un dels grans noms de la direcció orquestral del nostre temps; prèviament podrem escoltar Metamorphosen, també de Richard Strauss. Luisi, titular de les simfòniques de Dallas i Nacional Danesa, ha sigut a més director principal del Metropolitan i director general de la Staatskapelle de Dresden o de l’Òpera de Zuric. El mestre genovés enlluerna en qualsevol repertori. La seua tècnica sorprenent i la seua versatilitat, l’atenció a cada detall de la partitura i la refinada musicalitat són el seu segell distintiu. El cicle de l’Anell al Metropolitan, que ja forma part de la seua extensa discografia i pels darrers dos títols del qual va rebre el Grammy, està considerat un dels referents wagnerians més importants dels últims anys.

The symphonic cycle of the season closes with one of Strauss' best symphonic poems, the Alpine Symphony , performed by a special guest, Fabio Luisi , one of the great names in orchestral conducting of our time; previously we will be able to listen to Metamorphosen , also by Richard Strauss. Luisi, head of the Dallas and National Danes symphonies, has also been principal conductor of the Metropolitan and general director of the Staatskapelle in Dresden and the Zurich Opera. The Genoese master dazzles in any repertoire. His amazing technique and his versatility, the attention to every detail of the score and the refined musicality are his hallmark. The cycle of the Ringat the Metropolitan, which is already part of his extensive discography and for the last two titles of which he received the Grammy, is considered one of the most important Wagnerian references of recent years.
