Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first people to walk on the moon! Fritz Steppke steers his express balloon onto the moon long before the two show-offs. He is looking for new building land, the land prices on earth are absurd. And on the Milky Way there are definitely still many empty apartments. He wants to negotiate with the man in the moon, but this turns out to be a woman - namely Mrs. Luna. She quickly cast an eye on the young Berlin adventurer. If it weren't for the moon ›Don Juan‹ Theophil, the narcissistic Prince Sternschnuppe, the sharp-tongued Stella, the annoying Frau Pusebach and many other bizarre characters, Steppke's Berlin fiancée Marie would probably never see her Fritz again...

With »Frau Luna« Paul Lincke created a sensational success in 1899, which catapulted the Berlin revue operetta into new spheres with warp drive. Now the Bürgerbühne Musiktheater is also drawn to those "castles that lie in the moon" - with wit, chaos and an extra portion of energy!

Von wegen Neil Armstrong und Buzz Aldrin waren die ersten Menschen auf dem Mond! Fritz Steppke steuert seinen Expressballon lange vor den beiden Angebern auf den Erdtrabanten. Er sucht nach neuem Baugrund, die Grundstückspreise auf der Erde sind absurd. Und auf der Milchstraße stehen bestimmt noch viele Wohnungen leer. Er will mit dem Mann im Mond verhandeln, doch dieser entpuppt sich als Frau – Frau Luna nämlich. Schnell hat sie ein Auge auf den jungen Berliner Abenteurer geworfen. Wären da nicht noch der Mond-›Don Juan‹ Theophil, der selbstverliebte Prinz Sternschnuppe, die scharfzüngige Stella, die nervtötende Frau Pusebach und viele weitere skurrile Gestalten, würde Steppkes Berliner Verlobte Marie ihren Fritz wohl nie mehr wiedersehen ...

Mit »Frau Luna« schuf Paul Lincke 1899 einen Sensationserfolg, der die Berliner Revueoperette mit Warp-Antrieb in neue Sphären katapultierte. Jetzt zieht es auch die Bürgerbühne Musiktheater zu jenen »Schlössern, die im Monde liegen« – mit Witz, Chaos und einer Extraportion Energie!
