Probably no opera hero arouses such laughter and such sympathy as the barber of Seville. Thanks to the phenomenal comedy Beaumarchais Figaro, because we are talking about him here, he comes up with harmless intrigues, opposes wickedness and at the same time amuses to tears. Rossini's extremely lively music gives these love adventures an unprecedented dynamism. The pace and energy emanating from this work by the young composer accompanied the creation of Cyrulik : according to popular legend, the libretto was written in 12 days, and the music for the entire opera - in less than two weeks. Despite numerous problems during the premiere itself, which became a huge failure, the story of Figaro gained publicity, and Rossini became one of the most popular composers of his time.
