Passion and anger, secrets and intrigues, struggle for power and love. Success accompanied "Il trovatore" from the first production in Rome. The Tiber River, which overflowed its banks and flooded the streets near the Apollo Theater, did not stop the public from wanting to hear Verdi's new opera. From early morning a large crowd besieged the doors of the theatre. The performance caused general enthusiasm. With triumphant success, Il trovatore was soon staged in Paris, London, St. Petersburg and other European cities.

The opera gained fame, recognition and love thanks to its inexhaustible melodic richness. It was music full of passion, anger, ardent anguish, and sometimes the most tender, sublime lyrics that won her immense popularity.

Страсть и гнев, тайны и интриги, борьба за власть и любовь. Успех сопутствовал «Трубадуру» с первой постановки в Риме. Река Тибр, вышедшая из берегов и залившая улицы возле театра «Аполло», не остановила публику, желающую услышать новую оперу Верди. С самого утра многочисленная толпа осаждала двери театра. Спектакль вызвал всеобщий восторг. С триумфальным успехом «Трубадур» вскоре был поставлен в Париже, Лондоне, Петербурге и других городах Европы.

Опера получила известность, признание и любовь благодаря неисчерпаемому мелодическому богатству. Именно музыка, полная страсти, гнева, горячей тоски, а порой нежнейшей, возвышенной лирики завоевала ей огромную популярность.
