More than fifty reprises of the original production - and the popular Josef is coming to Ostrava again. One of the most famous musicals of the legendary duo Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber was presented in 1968 as a short school band for children. However, the song revue became the most performed British musical in history within a decade. The phenomenal success is mainly due to the great melodies and also the important message: " It's never so bad that it can't be better!" In addition to regulars Roman Harok and Tomáš Novotný, who have become synonymous with the biblical Joseph, Vendula Příhodová will perform for the first time as the Narrator, while Tomáš Savka and Jaroslav Rusnák will perform for the first time as Pharaoh. The renewed premiere offers a tempting gift. Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote a brand new song, Tim Rice wrote the lyrics and Michael Prostějovský performed the song. In addition to hits such as " Everybody has a dream", " Joseph get up" or " The gates are locked", the audience will hear Faraon's latest hit " I am the king in your heart" in the Czech premiere. Josef in a new and even brighter coat returns to Ostrava!!!
