A true pearl of the Baroque by Henry Purcell, with its plot rich in twists and its colorful characters, King Arthurhas enjoyed considerable success since its first performance in 1690. But here it is in a new light: without cutting a note of music or a word from the text, the infernal trio Niquet, Shirley & Dino undertake to explain in their own way this bizarre English story, where knights and monks pass illico delights from the table to the tremors of the cold! The music is brilliantly served by the troops of Hervé Niquet, one of the masters of this repertoire at the head of the Concert Spirituel. And for the rest: bring with you those who never go to the opera, adults and children: they won't miss a crumb of this caustic and exciting evening which has thrilled the public every time, forever conquered!

Véritable perle du baroque signée Henry Purcell, avec son intrigue riche en rebondissements et ses personnages hauts en couleurs, King Arthur connaît, depuis sa première représentation en 1690, un succès considérable. Mais le voici sous un jour nouveau : sans couper une note de musique ou un mot du texte, l’infernal trio Niquet, Shirley & Dino entreprend de faire comprendre à sa manière cette bizarre histoire anglaise, où les chevaliers et les moines passent illico des délices de la table aux tremblements du froid ! La musique est génialement servie par les troupes d’Hervé Niquet, un des maîtres de ce répertoire à la tête du Concert Spirituel.
