Œuvre majeure du répertoire bel cantiste, Lucia di Lammermoor a consacré le règne des grandes chanteuses italiennes au XIXe siècle, à travers une sombre intrigue inspirée de Walter Scott. Dans les étendues désolées de l’Écosse médiévale, deux familles s’opposent, sans savoir que leurs héritiers Lucia et Edgardo s’aiment en secret. La version française, adaptée par Donizetti lui-même, vous permettra d’apprécier la tension de ce drame tel qu’il était proposé au public parisien de l’époque.
