In 2020 Ludwig van Beethoven would have been 250 years old. Since the concert could not take place at the end of the anniversary year, we will make up for it this season. Together we celebrate the great composer and the 25th anniversary of the orchestra support association Bürger pro A e. V. with his 9th symphony. Friedrich Schiller wrote “Joy of beautiful sparkles of the gods” in his ode to joy in 1785. To this day, Beethoven's magnum opus has lost none of its freshness and core message:  "All people become brothers."
