The Düben collection in Uppsala University Library is a unique treasure and contains upwards of 3,000 works by German and Italian composers from the 17th century. The collection is named after the court kapellmeister Gustav Düben, who worked at the court in Stockholm and collected and copied music from the foremost of the time. Similar music collections can be found in Turku in Finland and Tallinn in Estonia. In a journey between these three northern music collections, a selection of the finest 17th-century music is presented. 

Orfeus Barock is guested this time by the Finnish baroque soprano Kajsa Dahlbäck. She is an internationally recognized soloist who specializes in older and modern music. She studied with, among others, Emma Kirkby, legendary in the vocal early music movement, and she is the founder of the Vasa Baroque festival in Ostrobothnia, Finland.  

The critically acclaimed ensemble Orfeus Barock regularly collaborates with prominent guests from the international baroque music scene. The artistic directors are the Royal Philharmonic's solo cellist Johannes Rostamo and the concertmaster and baroque violinist Elin Gabrielsson, a member of, among others, the Italian Europa Galante.

Dübensamlingen i Uppsala universitetsbibliotek är en unik skatt och rymmer uppemot 3 000 verk av tyska och italienska tonsättare från 1600-talet. Samlingen är uppkallad efter hovkapellmästaren Gustav Düben, som verkade vid hovet i Stockholm och samlade och kopierade musik från tidens främsta. Liknande musiksamlingar finns i Åbo i Finland och Tallinn i Estland. I en resa mellan dessa tre nordliga musiksamlingar presenteras ett urval av den finaste 1600-talsmusiken. 

Orfeus Barock gästas denna gång av den finländska barocksopranen Kajsa Dahlbäck. Hon är en internationellt uppmärksammad solist som specialiserat sig på äldre respektive modern musik. Hon studerade för bland andra Emma Kirkby, legendarisk inom den vokala tidig musik-rörelsen, och hon är grundare av festivalen Vasa Baroque i Österbotten i Finland.  

Den kritikerrosade ensemblen Orfeus Barock samarbetar regelbundet med framstående gäster ur det internationella barockmusiklivet. Konstnärliga ledare är Kungliga Filharmonikernas solocellist Johannes Rostamo samt konsertmästaren och barockviolinisten Elin Gabrielsson, medlem i bland annat italienska Europa Galante.
