Italian passions, love affairs and an unexpected denouement - the Chelyabinsk Opera and Ballet Theater presents the most famous work by Ruggiero Leoncavallo "Pagliacci".

This opera, stunning with its genuine drama, has been bringing the viewer to the theater for more than a century. Pagliacci staged by Pavel Sorokin impresses with its original direction and unusual approach to the artistic design of the performance:

“We tried to give everyday drama a more contemporary form, using such television and film techniques as video projections and a “live” background. The hurricane energy of music and the incredible dynamics of the action, which the composer endowed with his little masterpiece, will not allow anyone to break away from what is happening on stage. I believe that our performance will resonate with the audience and the plot of a hundred years ago will be in tune with modern man” , - stage director, twice laureate of the Nano-Opera International Competition for Young Directors Pavel Sorokin.

Delightful scenery, bright costumes and make-up for the performance were developed by the famous dynasty of theater artists: the winner of the Golden Mask National Theater Award Stepan Zohrabyan and Sofia Zohrabyan.

The complex and multifaceted characters of the characters, the looseness of feelings and the audacity of morals and, of course, the atmosphere of hot Italy - all this in the performance of the Chelyabinsk Opera and Ballet Theater "Pagliacci".

Итальянские страсти, любовные интриги и неожиданная развязка – Челябинский театр оперы и балета представляет самое известное произведение Руджеро Леонкавалло «Паяцы».

Эта опера, потрясающая своим неподдельным драматизмом, приводит зрителя в театр уже более века. «Паяцы» в постановке Павла Сорокина впечатляют оригинальной режиссурой и необычным подходом к художественному оформлению спектакля:

«Мы стремились облечь бытовую драму в более современную нам форму, используя такие приемы телевидения и кино, как видеопроекции и «живой» фон. Ураганная энергия музыки и невероятная динамика действия, которой композитор наделил свой маленький шедевр, не позволят оторваться от происходящего на сцене никому. Верю, что наш спектакль найдет отклик у зрителя и сюжет столетней давности станет созвучен современному человеку», – режиссер-постановщик, дважды лауреат Международного конкурса молодых режиссеров «Нано-Опера» Павел Сорокин.

Восхитительные декорации, яркие костюмы и грим к спектаклю разработала знаменитая династия театральных художников: лауреат Национальной театральной премии «Золотая маска» Степан Зограбян и София Зограбян.

Сложные и многогранные характеры героев, раскованность чувств и дерзость нравов и, конечно, атмосфера жаркой Италии – все это в спектакле Челябинского театра оперы и балета «Паяцы».
