The piece Dziwny jest ten świat , which talks about how humans despise humans, can be regarded as the quintessence of what we observe in the world (...) I would like everything to end well. I hope so too. That we will come out of conflicts one day, we will mature for acceptance. "That there are more people of good will" - as Niemen sang. (...) I am an idealist. I believe in people. I live in Canada, in a country where there have been great changes. Every person is there himself, who he wants to be. (...) I would like it to be like that everywhere. I believe in such a world and I hope that with this performance I am adding my little brick.

Coming Together Project it is based on the concept of a real sense of community. Our task is to accept the fact that we are part of a certain group. Sometimes it is easy for people to be together and sometimes it turns out to be impossible. There are people with whom we relate easily and easily, but we also meet people with whom we do not find a common language. Cooperation is not always successful. We know, however, that the pursuit of unification remains the highest human value. In addition, when creating a performance, we work, among others on the work of an American with Polish roots, being creative representatives of both cultures: American and Polish. Choreographically, we rely on both the aesthetics of contemporary and classical ballet. The emphasis on the differentiation of dance styles is due to the dancers themselves. This cooperation brought us very close.

Coming Together  and Attica  are pieces composed by Frederic Rzewski. Released in 1974, they remain timeless. They are subjected to various interpretations - both music and dance. The Castle Opera also tries to bring these ground-breaking works of avant-garde art closer to the public by translating the libretto into Polish (with the consent of the composer) for the first time in history.

Possibility to translate the text that served as the libretto Coming Together, It's an honor. Poetry translation is my favorite type of translation, but I had to bear in mind the context in which the work was written. Melville wrote a poem without realizing it! It was Frederic Rzewski who, by dividing sentences in a specific way, widened the field for interpretation for us, the recipients. Attica 
's translation proved to be a challenge. The simple sentence turned out to be completely difficult. Fortunately, the text is read by Konrad Pawicki. It is not appropriate to worry!

(...) Wszyscy znamy te teksty, jest w nich taka siła, moc. Utwór Dziwny jest ten świat, w którym mowa o tym, jak człowiekiem gardzi człowiek, można uznać jako kwintesencję tego, co obserwujemy na świecie (...) Chciałbym, żeby wszystko skończyło się dobrze. Taką też mam nadzieję. Że wyjdziemy kiedyś  z konfliktów, dojrzejemy do akceptacji. "Że ludzi dobrej woli jest więcej" – jak śpiewał Niemen. (...) Jestem idealistą. Wierzę w ludzi. Żyję na co dzień w Kanadzie, w kraju, w którym doszło do wielkich zmian. Każdy człowiek jest tam sobą, tym, kim chce być. (...) Chciałbym żeby wszędzie tak było. W taki świat wierzę i mam nadzieję, że tym spektaklem dokładam do tego swoją małą cegiełkę.

Projekt Coming Together opiera się na koncepcji dotyczącej realnego poczucia wspólnoty. Naszym zadaniem jest akceptacja faktu, iż jesteśmy częścią pewnej grupy. Czasem ludziom łatwo jest być razem, a czasem okazuje się to niemożliwe. Są osoby, z którymi nawiązujemy relacje lekko i bez trudu, ale spotykamy także ludzi, z którymi nie znajdujemy wspólnego języka. Współdziałanie nie zawsze się udaje. Wiemy jednak, że dążenie do zjednoczenia pozostaje najwyższą ludzką wartością. Ponadto, tworząc spektakl, pracujemy m.in. nad utworem Amerykanina o polskich korzeniach, sami będąc kreatywnymi przedstawicielami obu kultur: amerykańskiej i polskiej. Choreograficznie bazujemy zarówno na estetyce baletu współczesnego, jak i klasycznego. Nacisk na zróżnicowanie stylów tanecznych to zasługa samych tancerzy. Ta współpraca bardzo nas do siebie zbliżyła. Był to proces niezwykle osobisty zarówno dla choreografów, jak i dla tancerzy.

Coming Together i Attica to utwory skomponowane przez Frederica Rzewskiego. Wydane w 1974 roku, pozostają ponadczasowe. Poddawane są różnorodnym interpretacjom – zarówno muzycznym, jak i tanecznym. Opera na Zamku także podejmuje próbę przybliżenia publiczności tych przełomowych dzieł sztuki awangardowej, tłumacząc libretto na język polski (za zgodą kompozytora) po raz pierwszy w historii.

Katarzyna Huzar-Czub:
Możliwość przetłumaczenia tekstu, który posłużył za libretto Coming Together, to dla mnie zaszczyt. Przekład poetycki jest moim ulubionym rodzajem przekładu, musiałam jednak pamiętać o kontekście, w jakim ów utwór powstał. Melville napisał wiersz, nie zdając sobie z tego sprawy! To Frederic Rzewski, dzieląc zdania w specyficzny sposób, poszerzył nam, odbiorcom, pole do interpretacji. 
Przekład Attiki okazał się wyzwaniem. Proste zdanie okazało się zupełnie nieproste. Na szczęście tekst czyta Konrad Pawicki. Nie wypada się martwić!
