Tannhäuser, Acte I, scène 4 Inspirée de légendes médiévales, cette fresque romantique créée en 1845 illustre le génie du jeune Richard Wagner. Au-delà du souffle fascinant qui se dégage de la partition, et ce dès l ’ouverture, le compositeur fait un usage envoûtant des fameux leitmotive. De cette littérature musicale unique, mêlant mysticisme et fantastique, se dégage la passion amoureuse des deux héros, Tannhäuser et Elisabeth, ainsi qu’un thème qui hantera le théâtre wagnérien : la rédemption par l’amour.
