Life is short and there is now more evidence of a one-time adventure. We probably all want to live the time that comes to us meaningfully. On a human scale, there is too much opportunity, direction, information in this short time for us to decide for ourselves what to do with this “time” for us. This is why many of us cling to an idea, a leader, a faith, so as not to get lost or drift off the path he thinks is true. Yes, we want to believe that there are true people. But what if these “true” people are brokers? If their talent is nothing more than their ability to fill the gap within us, to answer our questions, but in the meantime, they only use us and our insecurities, our weaknesses, our delusions, to achieve their own selfish goals?
