Aword of advice to all parents: forbid your children what you want them to do; then you will be certain that they will! It is not about manipulation but about education. And remember: it's for their own good. This original method is successfully tested by Mrs. Hucklebee and Mr. Bellomy. To promote the union of their children, they invent a false argument, erect a wall between their two houses and forbid them any communication. Result: love is immediately at the rendezvous. Be careful, however, not to reveal the pot of roses, because nothing is more boring for children than a ready-made destiny.

Freely inspired by a play by Edmond Rostand, the musical The Fantasticks holds the absolute record for longevity, with nearly forty-two years playing at the same New York theatre. Its incredible story, halfway between Romeo and Juliet and Così fan tutte, and its successful titles like "Try to Remember", which has become a standard in the American repertoire (and a publicity hit), have made it a flagship work of the ' Off Broadway. It is interpreted in French version by the artists of the Opera Studio in a show for young and old by Myriam Marzouki, presented on a regional tour.

Uenfants ce que vous voulez qu’ils fassent ; vous serez alors certains qu’ils le feront ! Il ne s’agit pas de manipulation mais bien d’éducation. Et rappelez-vous : c’est pour leur bien. Cette méthode originale est expérimentée avec succès par Mme Hucklebee et M. Bellomy. Pour favoriser l’union de leurs enfants, ils inventent une fausse dispute, dressent un mur entre leurs deux maisons et leur interdisent toute communication. Résultat : l’amour est tout de suite au rendez-vous. Attention cependant à ne pas révéler le pot aux roses, car rien n’est plus ennuyeux pour des enfants qu’un destin tout tracé.

Librement inspirée d’une pièce d’Edmond Rostand, la comédie musicale The Fantasticks détient le record absolu de longévité, avec près de quarante-deux années passées à l’affiche du même théâtre new-yorkais. Son histoire rocambolesque, à mi-chemin entre Roméo et Juliette et Così fan tutte, et ses titres à succès comme « Try to Remember », devenu un standard du répertoire américain (et un tube publicitaire), en ont fait une œuvre phare de l’Off-Broadway. Elle est interprétée en version française par les artistes de l’Opéra Studio dans un spectacle pour petits et grands de Myriam Marzouki, présenté en tournée régionale.
