Handel’s Oratorio Messiah has been one of the most beloved favorites in Christmas seasons, but it comes to the audience in the middle of summer to look back on its value as a work of art from an artistic perspective more than religious viewpoint. It is a signature repertoire that showcases the brilliant musicality of the Seoul Metropolitan Chorus by recording all the seats sold out in every performance. David Yi, the associate conductor of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, joins the concert to complete the ensemble.
