Carmen. Toujours la mort ”is a performance-installation in which the main character, starting from a similar conviction, transforms into the most famous, iconic woman of European culture. Its metamorphosis is an almost ritual act, a performance restoring dignity to life and satisfying meaning to dying. In the face of death, which is promised not only by the cards, but perhaps also by an incurable disease, malaise, disturbing weakness or anxiety and depression, or simply everyday life, taking part of life with every moment, entering the role of Carmen may be a saving fervor or even a soothing illusion .
