The Linz conductor Vinzenz Praxmarer and his Divertimento Viennese present sound-drunk dance poems from Vienna and Paris at the turn of the century. While Alexander von Zemlinsky's Ein Tanzpoem , the revised second act of an unfinished setting of the ballet Der Triumph der Zeit by Hugo von Hofmannsthal, only saw its world premiere 50 years after the composer's death, Paul Dukas was able to perform what he himself called Poème dansé Ballet  La Péri celebrated a great success at its premiere in 1912. In between, a real gem can be heard, with the world-renowned pianist Shani Diluka as the soloist: the fascinating Piano Concerto by Reynaldo Hahn, whose middle movement is entitled “Danse”.
