He wrote a book about the composer, Schubert's Winter Journey: Anatomy of an Obsession. In the book, the British tenor talks about his own wanderings along the Winter Path.


One of the leaders of modern vocal performance, Ian Bostridge, began his professional career only at the age of 29. Before that, he studied history and philosophy at St John's College (Oxford) and wrote a dissertation on witchcraft!

Bostridge performed twice in the Zaryadye Hall: in the first and second concert seasons.
