Biography
Rinalds Kandalincevs graduated from Ventspils 1st gymnasium, in 2006 he received a bachelor's degree in vocal art from the Jāzeps Vītolas Academy of Music of Latvia. In 2010, he obtained a master's degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music. From 2012 to 2015, attended private lessons with James McCray in The Hague, Netherlands. In the past, he took part in private lessons and master classes with Margarita Gruzdeva, Evelyn Tubb, Joy Mammen, Scot Weir , Barbra Marklund -Petersone , etc. In 2004, he made his debut in the performance of Jānis Kalniņš's opera Hamlet in Bauskas under the direction of conductor Viesturs Gaiļis.
