Simone Di Felice

Simone Di Felice studied piano and chamber music with Franco Scala and Konstantin Bogino, while training as vocal coach in Florence at the Maggio Musicale. In the meantime, he began studying composition and perfected his conducting skills in Mannheim and Karlsruhe. He made his debut as conductor with Falstaff at the Teatro Mancinelli in Orvieto, before beginning a long-term collaboration with the Frankfurt Opera as chorus master and Kapellmeister. He is an assistant to Sebastian Weigle, Bertrand de Billy, Antonello Manacorda, Carlo Franci, Antonino Fogliani, Jader Bignamini and works with artists such as hristian Gerhaher, Michael Spyres, Željko Lučić, Quinn Kelsey, Carlo Ventre, John Osborn.
