Stavros Mantis

Mr. Mantis was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. He commenced his musical training in his home country by studying bassoon which he played in the State Youth Orchestra of the Republic of Cyprus for several years. He undertook his first vocal lessons in Athens, subsequently moving to Italy where, among others, he studied for two years with the illustrious Venetian tenor Gianfranco Cecchele. Along his operatic training path, he attended various music academies, participating in a plethora of advanced courses (Masterclasses), opera studios and performing art workshops. Among the various academies attended stand out the Mascagni Academy in Livorno and the Accademia del Teatro Stabile and Teatro Regio di Torino. Mr. Mantis is endowed with a baritone voice of considerable power and extension, a warm,
