Stephanie Hershaw

British soprano Stephanie Hershaw is an alumna of the young artists programme at the Landestheater Detmold She trained at the Royal College of Music under the tutelage of Rosa Mannion and Simon Lepper following studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and the Hochschule für Musik und Theatre, Leipzig with Professor Roland Schubert. Stephanie will join the ensemble at the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater for the 24-25 season. Her opera roles include Najade Ariadne auf Naxos, Zerlina Don Giovanni, Romilda Xerxes, Kate Pinkerton Madama Butterfly, Zwangsarbeiterin Lady Macbeth von Mzensk (Detmold); Romilda Xerxes (Landestheater Niederbayern); Papagena The Magic Flute (Waterperry Opera Festival); Celia in Handel Silla ( Northern Opera Group); Suzanne Robinson Crusoe (West Green Opera).
