Biography
The Dutch soprano Tinka Pypker started her musical training at age five, playing the violin. Later she discovered her voice through singing in her mother’s children’s choir. After that, she sung in a lot of different choirs and opera productions. Eventually, she decided to go the HAVO voor Muziek en Dans, high school of The Conservatoire of Rotterdam, where she studied with Frans Huijts for five years. After finishing there, she went to the School for Young Talent, high school of the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. She has studied there ever since, with Lenie van den Heuvel and is currently in her third year of the Bachelor’s degree. She is also taking a minor in Early Music and studies with stylistic specialists Dorothee Mields, Peter Kooij and Pascal Bertin, in order to achieve histori
