Biography
Moritz Achermann (*1991) studied musicology and German at the University of Bern before joining Kai Wessel’s singing class at the Bern University of the Arts in 2016. He works as a choir director, theater musician and composer and writes texts for music festivals and concert organisers. He is co-director of the theater group at the Neufeld high school and has worked as a musician in theater productions at the Stadttheater Bern, the Theater Biel-Solothurn and in the independent scene. Moritz Achermann conducts the vocal ensemble Suppléments musicaux, which he founded and with which he won the Youth Prize of the Berne Community in 2014, the Laltracosa Choir, the Bern Generations Choir, the Campo Fiorente Chamber Orchestra and is active as a singer, DJ and performer.
