This lively tenor-baritone duet between saxophonist Charlie Parker (Joshua Stewart, making his Seattle Opera debut) and trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie (Jorell Williams, last seen here in THE FALLING AND THE RISING) dramatizes the beginning of their collaboration and the new sound of Bebop.
