A cargo box is delivered to the funeral home. It is Cargo200, the name given to military deaths in Russia. The two undertakers inform the widow that the body has arrived and get ready for their usual work. But this, it turns out, is no ordinary dead man, for he died in a war that doesn't exist. So denied by the state power, the corpse disappears from the coffin and the widow sees no need for a burial. The two undertakers are not deterred by this, however.

Atmospheric the whole thing is close to Alban Berg's Wozzeck: precarious conditions, oppression and submission. The soldier in the opera "Eternal Peace" doesn't just come off like that. He is brought in in a wooden chest, in which a bright red coffin keeps the soldier. The main actor seems dead, his widow Anastasia is in mourning and two funeral directors in Donetsk, Ukraine, are preparing to prepare the deceased for the funeral. However, in this funeral home, little by little, some things don't go together. Does the tattered body of the soldiers tell the truth of war or the Putin-like president grinning from the TV set and teaching that "there are no Russian troops in Ukraine"? But why does the deceased suddenly contradict as undead, by reporting terrible war situations while holding the head of a dead friend? And what about the delivery paper that was enclosed with the dead man and that traces his death back to an unknown cause? In this opus by Kristine Tornquist and composer Alexander Wagendristel, the two undertakers (profound Robert Chionis and Evert Sooster) are amazed. The confrontation of bloody reality and propaganda gives them a frenzy of cognitive dissonance. Directed by Kristine Tornquist, they stumble between opportunism and compassion for the widow. Anastasia (Tehmine Schaeffer) becomes a problem solver. After talking to the authorities, she is happily convinced that her Sergei is not dead at all, only on a secret mission. And since the red coffin is suddenly empty too, the officials have no choice but to accept the victory of fiction over reality with relief. Your funeral home has become the Fakenews' hostel. Eine Frachtkiste wird ins russische Bestattungsinstitut geliefert. Es handelt sich dabei um Cargo200, so die Bezeichnung für militärische Tote. Die beiden Bestatter verständigen die Witwe, dass der Leichnam eingetroffen sei und machen sich auf ihre übliche Arbeit gefasst. Doch dies, stellt sich heraus, ist kein gewöhnlicher Toter, denn er ist in einem Krieg gefallen, den es nicht gibt. Derart geleugnet von der Staatsmacht verschwindet der Leichnam aus dem Sarg und die Witwe sieht keinen Bedarf an einem Begräbnis. Davon lassen sich die beiden Bestatter jedoch nicht beirren.
