Biography
The tenor from Brixen in South Tyrol has won several international competitions such as " Feruccio Tagliavini " Deutschlandsberg 2015 (3rd place, audience award, special criticism award, tenor award), " Accademia Belcanto " Graz (3rd place 2013, 1st place 2014) and " AIMS Meistersinger - Competition "Graz 2018 (Final Prize of the Jury). Roman Pichler studied at the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory of the City of Graz with Natela Nicoli and at the Art University Graz and is a scholarship holder of the "American Institute of Musical Studies". To round off his studies, he attended master classes with Kurt Widmer, Francisco Araiza, Romualdo Savastano, Giacomo Aragall, Angelika Kirchschlager, David Brook, Linda Watson, Gabriele Lechner, Eteri Lamoris, Maris Skuja, Nathalie Doucet and Claudia Rügg
